My photography practice includes working in both color and black and white, with each approach providing a different set of options for expressing and interpreting my experiences in nature. With black and white photography, I take full advantage of the departure from reality that comes along with working in shades of gray to present visually bold and dramatic interpretations of the natural world. 

The following galleries are organized by location, project, or theme. These collections are a work-in-progress, as I am consistently working through my large backlog of photos. Additionally, these galleries are meant to serve as a personal journal, together creating a record of my experiences in nature and progress as a photographer, and thus are not as tightly curated as the portfolios above.
