This portfolio features photos from autumn in Alaska including Kenai Fjords National Park, the area around Valdez, the Chugach Mountains, Denali State and National Parks, and the Denali Highway region. In addition to natural landscapes, you will also find photographs of wildlife and birds, including grizzly bears, black bears, Steller sea lions, sea otters, bald eagles, and other birds. I created some of these photos in close proximity to wild animals. In these situations, we were in a vehicle (like the Denali hiker bus) or at a viewing area using a long telephoto lens.
