This portfolio includes photos from my time spent wandering around one of my favorite places, California's Death Valley National Park. The title, A Glow About the Land, comes from our name for the time before sunrise and after sunset, around the transition between night and day. Especially on clear days in the desert, this time brings a surprising range of soft blues, pinks, and other pastels to landscape. Although some of the photos were taken at other times of the day, the glow about the land idea of soft colors and gentle light pull the collection together.
