Connections

Two of the most important aspects of photographing nature’s smaller scenes include deeply observing your surroundings to see beyond the most obvious subjects and then tuning into the ideas that resonate the most with you. These connections are the sparks of inspiration that lead to creating meaningful photos—the photos that represent our individual and most personal interpretations of the natural world. While this process can happen when photographing grand landscapes, it most often leads me toward photographing the smaller details around me. This portfolio is organized under the additional theme of color, with cooler tones bringing disparate subjects into visual cohesion. Click here to return to my portfolio homepage.
